Is Mariah suffering from an illness?

For months,there have been rampant, unconfirmed rumors, that songbird Mariah Carey is pregnant with her and hubby Nick cannon’s first child. Well, it should be evident that Mariah is in fact suffering from some sort of illness.
 The industry grapevine has it that Mariah is suffering from “a serious medical problem” that could potentially threaten her career.

The rumors and innuendoes took on new life over the weekend when Mariah, whose face was pale and bloated, flew into Singapore on Friday (Sept. 24) to perform at a Formula 1 event.
A listless Mariah gave a lackluster performance in front of 110,000 screaming fans in Singapore. But as fan videos clearly show, Mimi had to sit to catch her breath numerous times during her show. Even if she was 6 months pregnant she wouldn’t be that short of breath.
Then she slipped and fell onstage — and had to be helped to her feet by assistants. Mariah couldn’t even remove her own shoes without help! None of this sounds like a pregnancy that isn’t even showing.
 Many of us have seen the photos of Mariah leaving a Beverly Hills doctor’s office in recent months. And Perez Hilton posted pics 2 months ago of Mariah’s grossly distended belly.

Could Mariah be suffering from bleeding fibroids, an enlarged uterine cyst or some other gynecological problem that is sapping her strength?
While it’s obvious that she is not pregnant, we can only speculate what the “serious medical problem” could be.
Let’s face it, if a narcissist like Mariah was pregnant, she would have announced it by now so she can reap the benefits of all the attention her announcement would bring her.

Chris Brown accused of stealing a beat for his new track!

Chris Brown is in hot water for stealing the beat of another track for his own club single “Yeah 3x”.

Calvin Harris was stunned to hear the similarities between his single “I’m Not Alone” and brown’s club-tinged song off his upcoming “F.A.M.E.” (Forgiving All My Enemies) album.

Over the weekend, the Scottish musician took to his Twitter page to complain about brown hijacking his beat: He has every right to be pissed: brown’s synthesized beat and Harris’ are nearly identical. Though the track was produced by a DJ, it behooves chris brown and his label to make sure the music is free and clear of samples or rights.

Harris plans to take legal action against brown and his record label.

Chris...that was not a good move hun.

TI Cancels concert due to his arrest earlier this month

Rap star T.I. has been forced to cancel another concert, since being arrested with Tiny in Los Angeles for drug possession earlier this month.
T.I. was scheduled to perform in Columbia, Maryland. Organizers confirmed that fellow Atlanta rapper Ludacris will take take T.I.’s spot during the festival today (September 25th), whichtakes place at the popular Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Other acts on today’s bill include M.I.A., Thievery Corporation, Jimmy Eat World, LCD Soundsystem and Pavement.

Jermaine Jackson can't pay his child support! Time to put in a call to baby sis Janet!

According to a TMZ exclusive, MJ’s older brother Jermainejust asked a judge for a break on the amount of child support he has to pay for two of his son’s, Jermajesty and Jaafar.

Jermaine just filed new child support papers in L.A. County Superior Court — obtained by TMZ — grousing that he’s expected to pay $3,000 a month in child support for sons Jaafar and Jermajesty … even though his average monthly income for the last year has been under $1,100.

Jermaine claims his baby mama Alejandra not only earns more than him … but she gets a free ride along with his kids at the Jackson compound, thanks to Katherine’s generosity. Katherine has asked Alejandra to move her family into a nearly Jackson condo but Alejandra has refused and Katherine won’t put her foot down.

Maybe Katherine is going easy on Alejandra ’cause she added to the family tree on two branches. In case you missed it: she’s Randy’s baby mama too.
So what CAN he afford? Jermaine wants the judge to reduce his payments to $215 a month. SMDH

Suge Knight Pulled Over In L.A., Car Searched

Embattled former CEO Marion “Suge” Knight can't seem to keep himself out of trouble.
But considering he was recently arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, taken to court for child support, and facing a $6 million tax lien, he can mark this latest run in with the law as a slight win.
According to TMZ sources, the former Death Row head was pulled over in L.A. around 3 AM for a traffic violation when police realized he was driving on a suspended license.
The cops put Knight in the back seat of a patrol car while they rifled threw his car and belongings.
After the search came up empty, Knight was given a ticket for driving with a suspended license and released.
This will add another court date to the already hefty judicial schedule for Knight.
As recently reported, Suge is suing Kanye West for $1 million after he was shot in the femur during a 2005 VMA Awards after party that Kanye was hosting.
After a failure to mediate the matter last month, the case could go to trial.
In July an arrest warrant was put out on Knight for missing a court date for, ironically, driving on a suspended license.

Well Lindsay's been sprung out of jail!

LiLo is a free woman yet again. Just hours after being denied bail by Judge Elden Fox, LIndsay’s lawyer Shawn Holley Chapman appealed that decision.
According to TMZ reports:

“Judge Fox ruled earlier Friday … Lindsay could be held without bail. But apparently the Judge’s ruling flies in the face of California law, which gives defendants the right to bail in misdemeanor cases.
Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the L.A. County Criminal Courts, just threw Judge Fox’s bail decision out the window. Judge Schnegg has set bail at $300,000.”

Lindsay’s bondsman posted bail around 10 PM last night and she left Lynwood before midnight. She will be expected to abide by a number of conditions following her release, including:

Lindsay will have to get a SCRAM bracelet (this will be her third) within 24 hours — and under the terms of her bail, she is not allowed to be around known drug users … and must submit to search by law enforcement at any time. Also, nightclubs will be a major no-no … Linds has to stay out of places where alcohol is the “chief item of sale.”

This is not teaching her a lesson at all . I'm team Lindsay but she walks away from this thinkingher celebrity is what gets her out of trouble. We're rooting for you mama, but I don't know about this one.

Actor Gary Dourdan dodging creditor!

Despite a steady 20-year acting career, Gary Dourdan owes one company a lot of money.
According to TMZ reports Dourdan owes one company nearly $100,000. And since their attempts to get the money from him has yielded nothing, they’re heading to court.

HSBC filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court — obtained by TMZ — claiming Dourdan owes $88,024.95 for credit card purchases over the last four years … plus cash advances.
According to the docs, HSBC has tried several times to get its money — but Dourdan isn’t answering those annoying calls. I guess when you're out of work, that stuff happens. We've been there boo.

Bye Bye Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan posed for mugshot number four this morning after being taken into custody immediately upon arriving at her probation hearing.
As expected (and almost to our surprise), Lindsay arrived in court for a probation hearing this morning after having failed two drug tests last week. And as TMZ reports, it seems Judge Elden Fox was out to teach Lindsay a lesson no one saw coming.

Lindsay Lohan is in custody … after Judge Elden Fox shockingly denied her bail … and Lindsay could be sitting there until October 22. But LiLo’s lawyer just told us, the judge was dead wrong.
Judge Fox did not hear any arguments from the lawyers before making his ruling. Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ on the way out of court … the judge had no legal basis for denying her client bail.
Lindsay was handcuffed in court before being taken into custody.
It’s shocking because the underlying offense is a misdemeanor, and people connected with the case were telling us the judge had to offer Lindsay bail.
As for Lindsay’s reaction … she was shocked when the judge remanded her into custody. Lindsay looked at her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, before being taken out of the courtroom. She was taken from court in a single Sheriff’s vehicle, covered by a blanket.

A spokesman for the LA County Sheriff’s Office says Linds will be in “administrative segregation” for her safety and the safety of the jail system. This time though, there will be no early release unless the judge says otherwise.

Wire Talk: T.I. & Tiny Heading to Jail?

Rumor has it that Rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris is going back to Jail to serve three years & that his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle will be doing a year. According to a statement released by Atlanta U.S. Attorney Sally Yates, the self proclaimed “King Of The South,” could be going back to the place he was in just a couple of months ago.
U.S. Attorney Sally Yates told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a statement released Friday:

“We are very disappointed in Mr. Harris’ recent conduct, we will make our sentencing recommendation at the revocation hearing.”

The rapper and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle could face up to a year in California state prison, after they were found with ecstasy in West Hollywood on September 1st.
To make matters worse, not only did T.I. fail a drug test when traces of codeine were found in his system, but he was also traveling with a convicted felon named Cortez “C-Rod” Thomas.
All infractions are violations of the terms of T.I.‘s three-year probation for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers just before the BET Hip-HopAwards in October of 2007.

Rihanna faces legal troubles!

According to legal docs filed Thursday in New York -- and obtained by TMZ -- a Brazilian promotion company called Unique Sports and Marketing signed a $1.7 million agreement to book Rihanna for three Brazil shows in November.

Problem is -- Unique claims the people who said they signed the contract on Rihanna's behalf -- a company called Vegas Style Entertainment -- never repped Rihanna ... never ever.

Unique claims Vegas Style hatched a fraudulent con scheme  -- and by the time the Brazilians figured it out  ... they had already forked over $825,000.

Unique wants $4,685,000.  Calls to Vegas Style were not returned.

LiLo tests positive for Cocaine...she faces 30 days in the slammer

According to TMZ.com, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan failed multiple drug tests — including testing positive for cocaine — in the days since she was released from a UCLA drug treatment center.
This means the doctors at UCLA were wrong when they recommended early release for Lohan.
Lohan was originally sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days in a drug treatment center for violating probation on a DUI charge. She ended up serving only 13 days behind bars due to the overcrowded jails.
Following her release from jail, Lohan checked into the rehab facility at UCLA, where star-struck doctors determined she was not a chronic substance abuser, and recommended an early release from rehab.
Of course that was a mistake. But there is something odd about people on the west coast who continue to coddle and pamper spoiled, rich celebrities like Lohan.
This story won’t end until Lohan kills herself or someone else. I’m glad I don’t live in LA.
Lindsay, please clean up your act mama.

Superstar rapper T.I. is back in the feds’ crosshairs with new allegations he had more than Ecstasy when he was busted earlier this month. The Grammy winner, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., had codeine and marijuana and tested positive for opiates, according to a petition signed by his probation officer.
On probation from a gun-possession case that landed him in federal lockup for seven months, T.I. could end up back in jail because of the extra violations. “We are very disappointed in Mr. Harris’ recent conduct. We will make our sentencing recommendation at the (probation) revocation hearing,” U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said Friday.

Katherine Jackson files lawsuit

Katherine Jackson filed a lawsuit in LA  against promoters AEG Live for failing to take care of her baby boy MJ as he prepared for their tour. Ms. Katherine’s lawsuit – also filed on behalf of Michael’s three kids – claims AEG promised to provide life saving equipment and a doctor to make sure the King of Pop stayed healthy as he got ready for his This Is It concert series in London.

“AEG’s representations to Jackson were false because in reality AEG was merely doing whatever it took to make sure that Michael Jackson could make it to rehearsals and shows and AEG did not provide a doctor who was truly looking out for Jackson’s well-being and did not provide equipment,” the lawsuit stated.

An AEG rep says he hasn’t seen the suit yet, but if it exists, Ms. Katherine’s barking up the wrong tree. He says at the time of Michael’s death, he hadn’t officially agreed to the agreement she says they broke.

AEG Live President and CEO Randy Phillips said after Jackson’s June 2009 death that Murray was enlisted to act as Jackson’s personal physician and was to be paid $150,000 a month by AEG Live as the singer prepared for the concerts.
Jackson, however, died before signing the agreement. As a result, Phillips said it was not binding.

Still, the new lawsuit says agreement or not, Dr. Murray was AEG’s employee.

The suit also said AEG Live was responsible for the actions of Murray in the care of Jackson. Murray, however, was not named as a defendant in the lawsuit.
“At the time of his death, Michael Jackson was under the immediate care of a doctor selected by, hired by, and controlled by AEG; indeed AEG demanded and required that Michael Jackson be treated by this particular doctor to ensure that Michael Jackson would attend all rehearsals and shows on the tour,” the complaint stated.

Critics are outraged and claim that actress Gabourey Sidibe not only seems to have been digitally lightened, but that the plus-size star was not depicted in the same type of full-body photo as the other three cover models and that her hair style is unflattering. But a statement from Elle says these critics are analyzing the situation way too much.Elle said, “Nothing out of the ordinary was done. We have four separate covers this month and Gabby’s cover was not retouched any more or less than the others… If you take a look at the portfolio, each of the women were shot in different ways and for different reasons.”

Both Lindsay and TI may be possibly headed back to jail after failing court ordered drug tests this week. As we reported 2 weeks ago, TI and his wife Tiny were arrested for possesion of drugs in their car, and Lindesay who was recently released from prison violated her probabtion by failing a drug test.
When will it end? SMH.

LeAnn Rimes Fires back at Wendy Williams

LeAnn Rimes is firing back at Wendy Williams after the daytime talk show host called her affair with Eddie Cibrian “sloppy.” On her syndicated talk show Thursday, Williams, 46, discussed Rimes’ recent Shape interview in which she justified why she cheated on husband Dean Sheremet. “It’s all very sloppy,” Williams said, adding that Rimes also shouldn’t have referred to Cibrian’s sons as her “boys.” Said Williams: “The boys have a mother, and her name is Brandi [Glanville].”
Rimes, 28, quickly shot back (via Twitter): “All I know is Wendy Williams done pissed my mamma off! I don’t wanna be in her path. To say, ‘I’ve reserved myself a place in hell?!’ I’m incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about…I don’t like how it happened either, said it a million times, but this is out of control.”

Kimora Sad About About Split From Baby Phat

Kimora admitted last night that her partying ways with Baby Phat was unexpected:

“It’s over. It’s absolutely over. It was very abrupt and sudden. I was shocked,” she told the Daily News last night at Macy’s Herald Square. She wouldn’t confirm that she was pushed out, but said: “It’s very, very sad for me. It was totally unexpected.”
But the mom of three, who was greeted at Macy’s juniors department by hundreds of screaming fans, is still very much in command of the rest of her empire. She’ll relaunch her KLS Collection soon, and Kouture by Kimora, her under-$40 line exclusively for Macy’s, has got her feeling positive. “It’s onward and upward, and I’m very happy, and I’m very excited,” she says. “Sometimes, you’re thrown a curve ball in life.”

Aretha Franklin wants Halle Berry to show her some R-E-S-P-E-C-T and sign on to portray a younger version of the Queen of Soul in an upcoming biopic. The 68-year-old singing legend sent out a press release this week revealing her choices for Hollywood stars to play top roles in a planned film about her life and career.

Besides Berry, Franklin says she wants another Academy Award winner – Denzel Washington – to play her father, the late C.L. Franklin, a prominent Baptist minister and civil rights leader in Detroit.


Her wish list also includes Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard as Motown star Smokey Robinson. The movie, for which Franklin says she’ll be reviewing the script next week, will be based on her autobiography, “Aretha: From These Roots,” a best-seller a decade ago. Messages seeking comment were left by The Associated Press on Friday for representatives of Berry, Washington and Howard.


In her release, Franklin says the actors in question are “enthusiastic about the project and have agreed to take on these roles, subject to further negotiation.” The statement says Washington, for one, “was very interested in the role,” and Franklin “also had a very positive response from her in-person conversations with
Terrence Howard and others.” Franklin is one of the most honored musicians in American history, having won numerous Grammys, including a lifetime achievement award; the National Medal of Arts; the Presidential Medal of Freedom and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Chris Brown's mother apologizes for Twitter comment

Obviously the comment didn't go over well with MJ fans or fans of Chris Brown, so the harsh statement was removed from her page, but not before damage was done.

After receiving harsh criticism over the comment, Ms. Hawkins issued a statement to USA Today and explained what she meant by the insensitive tweet.
In her brief statement, Ms. Hawkins states that she meant to express her son's love for the late icon and that she hopes that Chris Brown will carry out his legacy in music.
“I'm so sorry that the tweet I sent yesterday was misunderstood,” Ms. Hawkins wrote. “What I meant to say is that Chris has always been inspired by Michael Jackson's music and his career.”
Although the backlash has seemed to relax a little, Ms. Hawkins did tweet this to haters:
"Angels continue to lift ur heads ever so high and ask God to guide and lead u throughout the good and the bad. Stand strong on his word!!!"

Fantasia Says 'Nobody Was There To Help Me'

It's been one month since Fantasia's suicide attempt and it seems the pain of that experience is still fresh. The singer has been steadily promoting her new album, Back to Me, and when she visited "The Wendy Williams Show" on Friday (September 10) she opened up about her recent drug overdose and said many members of her professional entourage had left her side.

"At the time, I wasn't really thinking about anybody," Fantasia told host Wendy Williams when asked whether she had considered daughter Zion.
"Nobody knows how heavy it gets. You see the glitz and the glamour and you think, 'They got it, they got it all,' but a lot of times when you come into this industry you have people that say that they are there for you, but a lot of times they are just there to get what they can get or because money is involved," she said, starting to cry.
The single mom revealed that many of her supposed confidants were nowhere to be found during her time of need.

"I am 26 years old, and so many times, I've looked around and noticed that everybody that started with me is now gone and nobody was there to help me clean it up. So I had to do it all by myself."

Fantasia's overdose occurred shortly after a lawsuit was filed by the wife of Antwaun Cook against the songstress charging that she had been in an adulterous relationship with Cook. Cook's lawyer, Nicole Sodoma said the singer was not responsible for breaking up the marriage. "He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage can in no way be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union — Paula and Antwaun," Sodoma said in a statement.
The singer is focused now on moving past her dark period by speaking openly about her story in an effort to connect with her fans. The "American Idol" alum's recent LP debuted on the Billboard 200 at #2.

Tiny's little "problem"

This week alone, Paris Hilton was arrested (again) for drug possession and Lindsay Lohan shuffled home after she’d finished serving two weeks of her 90-day jail sentence, as well as in-patient residency in rehab. As a society, we’ve become numb to these kinds of occurrences. Another day, another celebrity arrest, right?


Still, it’s hard to pretend as if T.I. and Tiny’s arrest Wednesday night does not disappoint.

Police allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from the $400,000 Maybach (which T.I. bought as a “gift” to himself after leaving jail this year); then, they arrested the lovebirds at a traffic stop on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

T.I. who was just released from prison in March on weapons charges, clearly wasn’t thinking about his probation.

Was smoking weed all that necessary for him if he just got out of jail, has six kids, and a probation hanging over his head?

And, what about Tiny? The poor thing seems so in love with T.I. that she can barely put her foot down and tell him no. No, baby, you cannot ruin your life, especially after having narrowly escaped a longer jail sentence last year. No, baby, we do not need to be smoking weed right about now.

Sigh.

While I’m tempted to get supremely annoyed at the stereotype of ignorance that these two are perpetuating with this arrest, Clifford Harris and Tameka Cottle do not represent all of the community, nor do they represent all celebrities.

If we take every arrest and/or bad action of celebrities—black, white, Asian, Latino—as our own we’ll never get anywhere “as a people.” Thank goodness I don’t wear black celebrity lives as my personal scar.

As for you, T.I. and Tiny—and you, DMX and Mischa Barton and Charlie Sheen, I know you’re performers, but sheesh…the act is getting old.

The insider explained, "The island is 12.5 acres and about 2.5 miles offshore . . . it's a tropical paradise." The insider continued, "[Jay Z and] Beyonce had been looking at the island in the past, and now [Jay Z] decided to buy it."

So we guess that means that Bey is now OFFICIALLY THE QUEEN . . . at least of that island . . .

T.I. and Tiny's troubles...no end in sight!

OK, so T.I. and Tiny got popped for possession of a controlled substance. Well, new reports just emerged and the ‘controlled substance’ is….. (drum roll please)


Ecstasy!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested because cops claim they found what appeared to be ecstasy in their car.

T.I. and “Tiny” were arrested on the Sunset Strip last night after making an illegal U-turn. Cops say they smelled marijuana, conducted a search and found a controlled substance.

Initial reports tried to say they had cups of that Sizzurp in the ride but we’re now told that the substance was allegedly ecstasy. Law enforcement sources call it a “small amount.”

The pills are being tested.

Khloe Kardashian blasts her haters!

Khloe Kardashian stepped out of her sisters shadow to set the record straight. The target of her fury? The very people that make her famous.


Khloe Kardashian has never been the kind of girl who backs down from a fight — which is why the reality star is addressing the “haters” she caught writing “hateful comments” about her online.

“I am a little confused as to why people who ‘hate’ me so much follow my every move and know every last thing about me (whether it’s fact or fiction). It’s funny to me how these so called ‘haters’ can sit behind a computer screen and all of a sudden have courage,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 26, blogged Friday.

“I most likely have seen many of you in person before and you have never said these things to my face,” she continued. “This is because you are a coward. You don’t have the guts. You are the ones that when we come face to face can only stutter compliments.”

But Kardashian insists that despite the “ridiculous lies” she reads about herself, she isn’t letting the negative comments get her down. In fact, she wants to “say thank you” to her “haters” for caring about her in the first place.

“Thank you for the ratings you give me on BOTH of my TV shows because based on the comments you leave on my page, it’s clear that you watch,” she wrote. “So thank you to my haters! You truly are making me better. God bless. I hope you are proud of yourself. I am proud of you!”

We’re proud of Khloe too. Some people actually use talent or skill to get ahead in life, but she has found success in having none at all.
